Beef futures fell and pork futures closed mixed on the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle fell 1.83 cent to end at 95.87 cents a pound;
September feeder cattle fell 2.12 cents to $1.1440 a pound;
October lean hogs dipped 2.48 cents to 72.57 cents a pound; and
February pork bellies rose 1.45 cent to 89.00 cents a pound.
