Wheat, corn, soybeans rise          Send a link to a friend

[August 09, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat, corn and soybean prices advanced Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 16.5 cents to close at $6.79 a bushel; December corn rose 6 cents to finish at $3.58 a bushel; December oats dipped 1.75 cents to $2.705 a bushel; November soybeans jumped 15.25 cents to $8.78 a bushel.

Beef futures fell and pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.3 cent to 95.57 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 0.5 cent to $1.1435 a pound; October lean hogs lost 0.62 cent to 71.95 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 2.05 cents to end at 91.05 cents a pound.
