The new building was recently remodeled and is a perfect fit for the
CIEDC Head Start program. In the new building, the Head Start
program will be able to provide kindergarten preparation and
services to more Logan County children and their families. The
playground has been relocated from its current site on Wyatt Avenue
to the new location. CIEDC also operates a Head Start center in
Centennial Court, which will remain at its current location.
"We are really excited about our new location," said Michelle
Schulte, Head Start area supervisor. "Providing quality services to
children and families is very important to us, and this new site
will only enhance those opportunities. Our staff has set up the
classrooms and (is) looking forward to a fresh start for the
upcoming school year."
CIEDC Head Start
serves over 70 Logan County children and their families.
