Agriculture futures fall          Send a link to a friend

[August 10, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures declined Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 5.5 cents to $6.735 a bushel; December corn lost 9.25 cents to $3.4875 a bushel; December oats dropped 9.25 cents to $2.6125 a bushel; November soybeans shed 0.25 cent to $8.7775 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures closed in a range on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.72 cent to 94.85 cents a pound; September feeder cattle rose 0.52 cent to $1.1487 a pound; October lean hogs slipped 0.75 cent to end at 71.2 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 2.1 cents to 93.15 cents a pound.
