Soybeans drop on Chicago Board of Trade  Send a link to a friend

[August 17, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Soybean and grain futures fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

December wheat fell 10.5 cents to $6.8650 a bushel; December corn prices fell 5.75 cents to $3.3950 a bushel; December oats fell 7.5 cents to $2.5050 a bushel; and November soybeans fell 39 cents to $8.1550 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 2.22 cent to close at 95.92 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 1.05 cent to $1.1532 a pound; October lean hogs fell 1.60 cent to 66.97 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.25 cent to 92.60 cents a pound.
