Corn, wheat prices rise          Send a link to a friend

[August 21, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures ended mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 2.5 cents to end at $6.91 a bushel; December corn gained 3 cents to $3.4875 a bushel; December oats fell 3.25 cents to $2.5025 a bushel; November soybeans dropped 0.5 cent to $8.2725 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.18 cent to close at 95.65 cents a pound; September feeder cattle gained 0.5 cent to $1.1737 a pound; October lean hogs lost 0.28 cent to 66.37 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.12 cents to 92.85 cents a pound.
