Agriculture futures rally          Send a link to a friend

[August 22, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Corn, wheat and soybean prices rallied Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery jumped 13 cents to settle at $7.04 a bushel; December corn gained 6.25 cents to $3.55 a bushel; December oats added 1.75 cents to $2.52 a bushel; November soybeans rose 3.75 cents to $8.31 a bushel.

Beef futures were mixed and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.75 cent to 96.4 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 0.1 cent to $1.1727 a pound; October lean hogs rose 1.13 cents to 67.5 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.05 cents to 93.9 cents a pound.
