Wheat, corn prices decline          Send a link to a friend

[August 28, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat and corn prices fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 4 cents to $7.38 a bushel; December corn fell 5.75 cents to $3.53 a bushel; December oats added 3.25 cents to $2.6075 a bushel; November soybeans rose 7.75 cents to $8.7275 a bushel.

Beef futures were mixed, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.07 cent to close at 97.75 cents a pound; September feeder cattle rose 0.52 cent to $1.1857 a pound; October lean hogs fell 2.95 cents to 67.7 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.15 cents to 92.05 cents a pound.
