Trailing by as much as 11 points in
the first period, the Angels rallied to within 1 to trail 29-30 at
the half. The Angels scored the first 5 points in the second half
to take a 35-30 lead and led until Kuyper tied the score at 37-37
with 11:03 to go. The score was tied and the lead changed hands
several times before the end of regulation play tied at 60-60.
Kuyper was able to outscore Lincoln 12-7 in the overtime, dropping
the Angels to 0-7 for the season. The Angels will be playing
Central Bible College of Springfield, Missouri, Saturday afternoon
at 3 p.m.
