Angels Register First Win; Preachers Lose to Kupyer

[December 03, 2007]  Lincoln Christian College Angels defeated Central Bible College 55-36 to record their first win of the season. The Angels led 29-16 at the half and again outscored their opponents 26-20 in the second period.

The Angels were led by Kim Kersey with 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. She received help from Bobbie Larson and Danielle Snider, who each scored 11.

The 1-7 Angels will next play at home against Greenville College on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The LCC Preachers lost their third straight to Kuyper College in the NCCAA Tip-Off by a score of 84-71.

The Preachers are now 3-5 for the season and will play Greenville College at home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
