Agricultural Futures Jump on CBOT

[December 05, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Futures for agricultural products rose sharply Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 17.25 cents to $8.94 a bushel; March corn gained 7.75 cents to $4.1125 a bushel; March oats rose 3.75 cents to $2.7925 a bushel; January soybeans added 12.75 cents to $10.915 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.07 cent to 96.3 cents a pound; January feeder cattle shed 1.05 cents to $1.07 a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.9 cent to 60.32 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.17 cents to 89.55 cents a pound.
