Agricultural Futures Make Gains on CBOT

[December 11, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 8 cents to $9.295 a bushel; March corn added 0.5 cent to $4.1775 a bushel; March oats gained 3.75 cents to $2.84 a bushel; January soybeans picked up 6 cents to $11.2575 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures made gains on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.37 cent to 97.12 cents a pound; January feeder cattle added 0.17 cent to $1.0612 a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.65 cents to 63.35 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.15 cents to 92.47 cents a pound.
