Send a link to a friend

[December 12, 2007]  Beginning on Monday, the Lincoln Street Department will pick up brush from the recent ice storms. Please place all debris at the curb by 7 a.m. Anything placed out after 7 a.m. will not be picked up. Crews will start in different parts of the city, so please be patient.

Starting on Jan. 7, the department will pick up Christmas trees. Here again, the trees will need to be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. All decorations and stands must be taken off the tree. Wire wreaths and trees in bags will not be picked up. All trees are 100 percent recycled for wildlife habitat and fish breeding beds. For more information on what will or will not be picked up, call 732-4655 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or go to www.cityoflincoln-il.gov.
