Wheat Prices Jump on CBOT

[December 15, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures advanced broadly Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 26 cents to $9.795 a bushel; March corn added 3.25 cents to $4.3825 a bushel; March oats gained 3.25 cents to $2.9775 a bushel; January soybeans jumped 11 cents to $11.57 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.3 cent to 95.47 cents a pound; January feeder cattle ended flat at $1.038 a pound; February lean hogs fell 1.25 cents to 60.17 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.28 cents to 88.77 cents a pound.
