Two-Month Drug Investigation Leads to Two Crack Cocaine Arrests in Lincoln

[December 20, 2007]  On Wednesday at approximately 7:10 p.m., Lincoln Police Department officers and sheriff's deputies acted on a search warrant at 828 N. Kankakee St. Entry was made by Lincoln's Emergency Response Team, Lincoln police officers and sheriff's deputies.

Two individuals were arrested:
  • Michael B. Gould
    13615 S. State, Riverdale
    6-foot 3, 250 pounds
    Charges: Manufacture and delivery of controlled substance (crack cocaine)

  • Napolean L. Kendall
    828 N. Kankakee, Lincoln
    5-foot-6, 140 pounds
    Charges: Possession of a controlled substance; permitting an unlawful use of a building; possession of drug paraphernalia

A female subject was interviewed and released.

The search warrant culminates a two-month investigation by the Logan County Drug Suppression Unit centering on drug trafficking in the area in and around Lincoln College. More arrests are anticipated.
