Ferne Dooley

[December 26, 2007]  Ferne Dooley, of Lincoln, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at 12:20 a.m. at Maple Ridge Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Dooley was cremated, there will be no services.

Mrs. Dooley was formerly employed by Stetson China until they closed in 1964 and Lords Dress Shop, Lincoln and part time at Avery and Comstock Furniture in Lincoln.

She was born in Vandalia, IL. She married Donald Dooley on January 19, 1951, at Pocahontas, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Dale, George, Clarence “Skeet” and Delbert Melton and one niece, Betty McKinlay.  

She is survived by her husband Donald Dooley, two nephews, Jerry (and Rosemary) Melton and William “Bill” (and Linda) Melton, all of Lincoln.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Dooley Family.
