Agricultural Futures Rise on CBOT

[December 27, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Soybeans jumped Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while other agricultural futures also rose.

Wheat for March delivery rose 6 cents to close at $9.4125 a bushel; March corn added 8.25 cents to settle at $4.5225 a bushel; March oats rose 3.5 cents to close at $3.09 a bushel; March soybeans jumped 40.25 cents to close at $12.395 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.43 cent to close at 95 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.07 cent to $1.035 a pound; February lean hogs added 0.17 cent to 59.97 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.15 cents to 85 cents a pound.
