Wheat Futures Drop on CBOT

[December 28, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat prices fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while other agricultural futures traded mixed.

Wheat for March delivery lost 26.25 cents to $9.15 a bushel; March corn rose 2.5 cents to $4.5475 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.09 a bushel; January soybeans fell 8.25 cents to $12.125 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 1.17 cents to 96.17 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.87 cent to $1.0437 a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.70 cent to 59.27 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.18 cent to 84.82 cents a pound.
