Woodrow Marshal "Woody" King

[December 26, 2007]  Woodrow Marshal "Woody" King, 94, Lincoln passed away December 22, 2007 in The Christian Village.

Open visitation will be on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Holland, Barry and Bennett Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:30 PM Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Speedway Chapel in Indianapolis, Indiana with burial to follow in Indiana.

Woody was born June 28, 1913 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Lorenzo and Bertha King. His wife Ruth I. King preceded him in death earlier this year.

He proudly served his country in the armed forces and was a member of several American Legions and VFW's in the Indianapolis and Lincoln areas.

Survivors include one son Allen (Gail) King of Lincoln, four grandsons and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his wife Ruth.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor to The Christian Village.
