The National Weather Service in
Lincoln has issued a snow advisory in effect until midnight for the
counties of Logan, Cass and Menard, including the city of Lincoln. |
Snow will develop across the region by early afternoon and persist
into the evening. The snow may be moderate to heavy at times,
primarily between 3 and 7 p.m. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3
inches are likely before the snow diminishes after 9 p.m. Blowing
and drifting snow will occur in the evening as gusty northwest winds
develop. A snow advisory means that periods of snow will cause
primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow-covered roads
and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.

of Knox, Stark, Peoria, Marshall, Woodford, Fulton, Tazewell,
McLean, Schuyler and Mason, including the cities of Galesburg,
Peoria, Bloomington, Normal and Havana.

primarily between 3 and 7 p.m. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches are likely, with locally higher amounts before the snow
