The donor of the
new Abraham Lincoln Covered Wagon display, Larry VanBibber, manned
the ceremonial scissors at the dedication Thursday morning. Jim and
Shelley Horn are hosting Mr. Lincoln and his wagon at their J&S Auto
Centre business, which affords viewing of the site from Route 66 and
the Logan County Fairgrounds. They were joined in the midst of snow
flurries by representatives of the Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of
Logan County, Logan County Route 66 Heritage Foundation,
Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln city officials and
other tourism officials.
