DeWitt County Soil and Water Conservation District fish sale under way          Send a link to a friend

[FEB. 13, 2007]  CLINTON -- The DeWitt County Soil and Water Conservation District is now planning its spring fish sale. The district offers this sale as a service to make fish available for pond stocking in smaller quantities not normally available to the public.

Available varieties are grass carp, channel catfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, bluegill, redear, hybrid redear, black crappie and fathead minnows.

Order forms will be sent by request. If interested, stop by the district office in Clinton or call 217-935-6504, ext. 3, to have one mailed to you.

The order deadline for grass carp is Feb. 22. For all other fish orders, the deadline will be March 5. The fish will be delivered for pickup on March 12 at 8 a.m. at the district office in Clinton.
