  • 7pm - Kick-Off at Lincoln College Museum with "Salute to America's Greatness" Public is invited to the special exhibit, reception will follow. Exhibit will run through September 17, 2006

 

 

Friday June 30th

 

  • 10am - 5pm - Merchants: Red, White & Blue Sales Friday & Saturday

  •  1pm - St. Clara's Manor Homecoming Celebration, FREE Cook Out, Music, Games, Car Show

  •  Dance in the Streets on the corner of Pulaski & Chicago

  • 8am - 4pm - Community Garage Sale/Flea Market Scully Park.

"Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial 2009"

  • 7pm - Kick-Off Reception of "Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial in Lincoln" Illinois (ALBC) at Lincoln College Museum followed by Free Mary Todd Lincoln Cake

     The aim of the ALBC is to renew Americans' appreciation of Lincoln's ideas of freedom, democracy, equal opportunity, and to encourage all people to "Live the Legacy."

  • Dusk - FREE open to the public -Jumbo Outdoor Movie 15' x 20' Screen on the Lincoln College Soccer Field

  • 10am - "Let Freedom Ring" Second Annual Old Fashioned Children's Walking Parade, Tricycles, Bicycles, Strollers, Wagons, Floats and Pets. (No motorized vehicles permitted). Prizes will be awarded. Line up at Scully Park. Registration 9:00 am. Judging 9:30am.
