[February 28, 2007]  With 238 ballots cast and all precincts counted, the Logan County clerk reported the following results from the primary election on Tuesday:

Lincoln Ward 2 alderman

• Bill Shelby, 28

• Kathleen M. Horn, 40

Lincoln Ward 5 alderman

• Jeff Hoinacke, 85

• Derrick R. Crane, 85

A lottery will determine the winner of the tie vote. It will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 in the Office of the County Clerk. Judge David Coogan will draw.
