Benefit spaghetti dinner and silent auction Send a link to a friend

[JAN. 3, 2007]  The Lincoln Church of God Because We Care ministry will sponsor a benefit spaghetti dinner and silent auction for Christian Child Care of Lincoln. The dinner and auction will be on Jan. 18 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and will be hosted at Jefferson Street Christian Church, 1700 N. Jefferson St.

Carryouts will be available.

For the silent auction, various items from area businesses will be available, including gift cards, DVD players and gift baskets.

Ticket prices by Jan. 12 for those who eat in only are $6 for ages 11 and over, $3 for ages 4 to 10 and free for children through age 3. After Jan. 12 the cost will be $7 for ages 11 and over and $4 for children up to age 10. Tickets can be purchased by calling Christian Child Care at 732-5750 or the Church of God at 732-8989.

This fundraiser is an effort to help Christian Child Care close the gap between expenses and income. The Because We Care ministry at Lincoln Church of God supports area agencies throughout the year.
