The Lincoln Community High School speech team
ended its regular season by hosting its own Lincoln Invitational.
While the host team did not compete for team sweepstakes, the team
was led by numerous outstanding individuals. Tournament champions
for Lincoln were Tony Curcuru and Lincoln Moore, first in humorous
duet acting; Lincoln Moore, first in original comedy; Hannah Snyder,
first in extemporaneous speaking; and Cameron Kurtz, first in
impromptu speaking.

The speech team will have its annual "Meet the Regional Team"
night on Thursday at 6:30 in the auditorium. The 13 regional entry
events and performance in the round will showcase their events for
the public.
The team will travel to Chatham for the IHSA regional on
Saturday.
