2007 Ag Day scholarships         

[JAN. 31, 2007]  The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee will award scholarships to high school seniors or college students from Logan County who are pursuing future careers in agriculture production or ag-related businesses. Scholarship winners will be chosen based on their commitment to a future career in agriculture, academic performance, involvement in extracurricular activities, financial need and work experience. The committee is particularly interested in candidates who will return to the Logan County area to pursue their careers.

Interested applicants may download the application from www.lincolnillinois.com. Applications are also available at 1555 Fifth St. in Lincoln and from area high school guidance offices.

Completed applications are due Feb. 16. Winners will be notified in early March and recognized during the Logan County Ag Day Breakfast on March 21.
