Beef futures were mixed and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle rose 0.02 cent to 92.52 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell
0.23 cent to $1.1447 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.25 cent to 69.85 cents a pound; August pork bellies fell 1.60 cent to 86.77 cents a pound.
