Corn, soybean prices rise          Send a link to a friend

[July 14, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures ended Friday mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery dipped 0.75 cent to $6.2075 a bushel; December corn rose 3.25 cents to close at $3.685 a bushel; December oats finished a half cent higher at $2.7375 a bushel; November soybeans ended up 7.25 cents to $9.4875 a bushel.

Beef futures retreated, while pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle shed 0.5 cent to 91.62 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dropped 0.45 cent to $1.1385 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.62 cent to 73.45 cents a pound; August pork bellies ended 0.25 cent higher at 90.2 cents a pound.
