Mueller named vice president of enrollment management at Lincoln College          Send a link to a friend

[July 19, 2007]  Lincoln College has appointed Heather L. Mueller as vice president of enrollment management and student services. The appointment is a result of a nationwide search yielding 38 applications from a field of qualified individuals. Mueller will begin her duties in mid-July.

Mueller, a native of Minnesota, previously worked as executive director of enrollment management and student affairs at Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. Prior to working at Thomas University she was assistant director of special events and programs in the Office of Student Development and College Affairs at Rutgers College in New Jersey. Mueller was assistant coordinator of orientation and transition services at Illinois State University.

"We are fortunate to have someone of Heather's experience and ability to lead our admissions and student services teams at Lincoln College," said President John Hutchinson. "This is a vital position at Lincoln College. Heather's record of accomplishment in higher education makes her uniquely qualified to lead our important enrollment management efforts. She brings a new strategic and tactical direction to our enrollment efforts, and I have faith that she will recruit students to meet the ambitious goals of our strategic plan."

"I am thrilled to be joining the Lincoln College community," said Mueller. "Lincoln College is a very strong institution, poised for even greater achievements under President Hutchinson. I look forward to helping the college achieve its goals and to helping students from around the state and beyond find their place at LC." Mueller's responsibilities will include overall leadership of admissions, residential life, student activities, student development, counseling and the student health service.

Mueller holds a bachelor's degree from Concordia College, a master of science in education degree from Illinois State University and is currently working on a Ph.D. in education at Capella University.
