Agriculture futures rise on Chicago Board of Trade

[July 19, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery gained 22.25 cents to close at $6.235 a bushel; December corn added 5.75 cents to $3.425 a bushel; December oats edged up 0.75 cent to settle at $2.5125 a bushel; November soybeans closed up 16 cents to $8.765 a bushel.

Beef futures fell and pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle dropped 0.5 cent to 91.37 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.42 cent to close at $1.154 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.17 cent to 73.85 cents a pound; August pork bellies rose 0.03 cent to 88.3 cents a pound.
