The calf's owner, Mark Krombholz, says Lucy, has earned attention from newspapers in Russia and China. California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger also wrote them a letter, and the calf was mentioned on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
"We weren't exactly expecting what we got," Krombholz said. "But it's like, 'Wow, newspapers all over the world, and telephone calls from different TV shows that want to talk to us.'"
Krombholz has said the calf's second, smaller nose, which sits on top of the first, is functioning. Lucy was born May 4.
