Due to deregulation, energy may be purchased on the open market.
The purchasing cooperative will pool the buying power of commercial
customers to procure energy at the best available competitive market
price.
The energy co-op is available for DS 2, DS 3 and DS 4 commercial
accounts. Bobbi Abbott, executive director of the chamber of
commerce, reports that "businesses spending $200 or more for their
electric supply services will benefit from this program."
There is no obligation to attend the informational meeting to
learn more about qualifying for the program. Reservations may be
made by calling 735-2385.
