Wheat, Corn Rise on Chicago Board Of Trade

[July 27, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat and corn futures rose modestly while soybeans slipped Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 2.25 cents to close at $6.5325 a bushel; December corn rose 3.50 cents to $3.3650 a bushel; December oats fell 0.25 cent to $2.6275 a bushel; November soybeans fell 6 cents to $8.4050 a bushel.

Cattle and hog futures finished mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 1.60 cent to finish at 93.62 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.77 cent to $1.1712 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.45 cent to 72.70 cents a pound; August pork bellies gained 1.35 cent to 90.65 cents per pound.
