Wheat falls; oats, corn rise          Send a link to a friend

[July 31, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat prices tumbled Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery closed down 15.75 cents at $6.375 a bushel; December corn rose 3.5 cents to $3.40 a bushel; December oats gained 3.75 cents to close at $2.665 a bushel; November soybeans increased 7.25 cents to $8.4775 a bushel.

Beef futures ended mixed while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.65 cent to close at 94.27 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dropped 0.15 cent to $1.1697 a pound; August lean hogs rose 0.45 cent to 73.22 cents a pound; August pork bellies added 0.4 cent to 91.05 cents a pound.
