Grains rise, soybeans fall           Send a link to a friend

[June 01, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures advanced and soybeans retreated Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 6.25 cents to $5.17 a bushel; July corn rose 8 cents to $3.90.25 a bushel; July oats rose 3.5 cents to $2.81 a bushel; July soybeans fell 2 cents to $8.06.25 a bushel.

Beef futures increased and pork futures decreased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.45 cent to 91.15 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.07 cent to $1.1142 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.20 cent to 75.07 cents a pound; July pork bellies fell0 .55 cent to $1.0065 a pound.
