[June 02, 2007]  (AP) A low pressure system moving Sunday through the Great Lakes and into eastern Canada was expected to bring rain to the Upper Midwest and Northeast.

In the West, a Pacific front was likely to cause rain showers from the Northwest through the Northern Rockies.

Temperatures in the Southwest were to rise into the 90s and 100s, while the Southeast will see temperatures in the 80s and 90s. The Northeast was to see temperatures in the 70s and 80s.

Temperatures in the Lower 48 states Saturday ranged from a low of 23 degrees at West Yellowstone, Mont., to a high of 110 degrees at Death Valley, Calif.
