Workshop offered at Logan County Extension office

[June 05, 2007]  The Global Positioning System has taken the world by storm. It is used in many modern ways, including directions to your location, precision agriculture, mapping and cell phone 911. A workshop at the Logan County Extension office will teach the basics of using GPS, equipment types and reliability, and use of a handheld unit to find and map locations. The workshop will be June 15 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Cost will be $5 per person, and preregistration is required by June 8. A minimum of eight participants is required to have the workshop.
