[June 07, 2007]  A wind advisory continues this afternoon. Steady winds of 35-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph are probable. There is special concern on east-west roads, due to crosswinds.

From midnight to 3 a.m. Friday, a squall line event is possible with 70-80 mph winds.  There is a slight threat of tornadoes at the leading edge of squall line and a slight threat of hail. The main concern appears to be the straight-line winds of 70-80 mph as the squall line moves northeast at 40-50 mph.

Continue to monitor NOAA Weather Radio or commercial radio and TV as this dangerous situation develops.
