Soybeans fall, grains rise          Send a link to a friend

[June 14, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures jumped higher and soybeans declined Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 24.5 cents to $5.89.5 a bushel; July corn rose 11 cents to $4.04.5 a bushel; July oats rose 2 cents to $2.93 a bushel; July soybeans fell three-fourths cent to $8.25.75 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures ended lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.70 cent to 89.60 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.42 cent to $1.0670 a pound; July lean hogs fell 0.32 cent to 75.35 cents a pound; July pork bellies fell 0.28 cent to 96.97 cents a pound.
