Grains, soybeans mostly increase          Send a link to a friend

[June 15, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain and soybean futures finished mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 17 cents to $6.06.5 a bushel; July corn rose 5 cents to $4.09.5 a bushel; July oats fell 2.5 cents to $2.90.5 a bushel; July soybeans rose 1.75 cent to $8.27.5 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 1 cent to 90.55 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.97 cent to $1.0757 a pound; July lean hogs rose 1.13 cent to 76.40 cents a pound; July pork bellies rose 2.23 cents to 99.20 cents a pound.
