Angela Stoltzenburg, CIEDC executive director,
and Sarah Puls, Head Start director, attended the Illinois Head
Start Association's recent conference in Bloomingdale, called
"Charting the Course." The June 6-8 conference was attended by Head
Start directors from throughout Illinois.
|
During the three-day conference many issues were discussed, such as
the Head Start program, inspiring staff, tips on reaching goals, and
techniques on how to create an effective workplace environment.
"The conference gives us the opportunity to network with other
professionals who face similar challenges and successes,"
Stoltzenburg said. "We learn from each other, and their input is
invaluable to us as we continue to bring high-quality preschool
services to central Illinois."
