Governor's statement on Senate resolution rejecting budget as amended by Illinois House         

[June 21, 2007]  The following statement from Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich on Senate Resolution 258 was released Wednesday:

"I'm delighted that Senate Democrats voted to reject the House Democrats' budget that cuts education and takes health care away from children. I'm proud of Senate President Emil Jones and the Senate Democrats for standing up for the core Democratic values that we all believe in."
