Railsplitter Coin Club to host spring coin show Saturday in Lincoln          Send a link to a friend

[March 01, 2007]  The Railsplitter Coin Club has announced their first coin show, which will be on Saturday. This event is open to the public, with free admission! There will be over 30 coin vendors present to show off their rare, historical and collectable coins for sale.

The show will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rusty's Clubhouse and Grill, located at the junction of Interstate 55 and Route 10 in Lincoln. Full food menu and drinks will be available.

Dean Baker of the Railsplitter Coin Club hopes the event will lead to an increased interest in coin collecting on a local level. He also anticipates that coin dealers and coin show attendees from surrounding communities will impact the local economy while they are in town for the show, particularly as they visit Lincoln's wide variety of interesting retail and antique shops.

The event is the first of what the club hopes will be many such events, with another show tentatively planned for this fall. For more information on this show or about joining the club, please call 217-732-7069.
