Tree sale deadline extended          Send a link to a friend

[March 02, 2007]  The Logan County Soil and Water Conservation District has extended the deadline for ordering trees to March 16. The program is sponsored to encourage more tree planting.

Anyone interested in ordering trees should contact the district office at 217-735-5508, ext. 3, or stop by the office at 1650 Fifth St. Road in Lincoln for an order form.

Evergreens, hardwoods, shrubs, fertilizer tablets, tree protectors and marking flags are available. Cost of the trees is approximately $1 per tree

Trees are scheduled to be delivered the first part of April. You will be notified as to the exact date for pickup.
