Beason family needs help          Send a link to a friend

[March 02, 2007]  BEASON -- A house fire in Beason on Monday left a single mother and her three children without anything, and the family did not have renter's insurance.

The Beason Fire Department volunteers and Women's Auxiliary will be at the Beason Firehouse on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to accept donations for the family.

They are in need of clothing and basic essentials. However, any donations are helpful. Sizes for the family are as follows: 6-month-old girl, 9-month clothing; 4-year-old boy, size 6; 6-year-old boy, size 7; the mother wears size 13 pants and large size shirts.

To arrange a different drop-off time or for further information, contact firefighter Heather Fuller at 217-447-3404 or beasonfireandrescue@yahoo.com.
