Numerous Mount Pulaski trees marked for cutting

Send a link to a friend

[March 16, 2007]  X's and dots mark many trees in Mount Pulaski today. Trees that are on city property and were mostly damaged by the December ice storm and again by severe winter weather later in the season are marked to either be cut down or trimmed.

Due to the ice storm of Dec. 1, 2006, many trees located on city property were heavily damaged.

A schedule is not yet set for when Federal Emergency Management Agency contractors or city crews will begin the work at specific locations.

X represents a tree to be removed.

A white or orange dot marked on a tree means that certain branches on that tree will be trimmed.
