O'Donohue's
Old-Fashioned Soda Fountain on Route 66 in downtown Lincoln had a
ribbon-cutting Friday and is observing a St. Patrick's Day grand
opening. Chad Lawrence is serving hungry patrons sandwiches
that include all-beef hot dogs, Polish sausage and Italian beef from
a charming outdoor cart. Lawrence is proud to pile the dog or
any sandwich with the finest Chicago-style trimmings and does it all
with a smile for you. The quality is great and the prices
reasonable.
Inside the eatery you'll find the classic black-and-white checked
and chrome retro style of an old-fashioned fountain and all the
goodness of old-fashioned sodas and ice cream desserts.
O'Donohue's is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until
traffic stops or 6 p.m. and is located at 113 N. Kickapoo St.
in Lincoln.
