Illinois Raptor Center seeking volunteers for winter storm cleanup day          Send a link to a friend

[March 28, 2007]  DECATUR -- The Illinois Raptor Center will have a public work day on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to clean up winter storm damage on the Sangamon flood plain, Daffodil Valley and around the main IRC property. The community is asked to lend a helping hand.

Volunteers should bring work gloves, along with wheelbarrows, buckets, rakes, chain saws, tree trimmers or branch clippers.

The Illinois Raptor Center will furnish lunch.

The Illinois Raptor Center is located at 5965 W. Hill Road on the far west side of Decatur.
