Central Illinois Economic Development Corp. is
gearing up for
National Community Action Month, an annual observance in May
that recognizes the efforts of Community Action agencies to help
low-income people. Agencies across the country, including CIEDC,
will have events to mark the occasion.

You are invited to attend an open house on May 15 from 1:30 to 3:30
p.m. at the Community Action Partnership office located at 1800
Fifth St. in Lincoln. As someone who cares about the community, we
will feel fortunate to have you in attendance. As part of the open
house, we are doing an All Kids blitz to sign up eligible
individuals for All Kids
health insurance. Central Illinois Economic Development Corp. has
been helping people and changing lives in the six-county service
area of Fulton, DeWitt, Logan, Mason, Menard and Piatt counties for
many years. We have turned hope into reality for thousands of
low-income individuals and families. We have enabled many local
residents to help themselves, and, in turn, help others. We take
pride in what we do and are honored to celebrate National Community
Action Month with the entire community.
